The Asics Gel Dirt Dog Cross Country Spikes features the renowned Gel® pad in the heel for enhanced cushioning and protection for all levels of competition from middle school to collegiate. The SpEVA® midsole provides excellent responsive and plush feel during races.

Asics Gel-Dirt Dog Upper: Lightweight mesh made to be breathable for excellent water release and ventilation. Synthetic leather overlays. Integrated Lacing System wraps upper snugly and comfortable around the foot. Extended heel counter provide extra support. Slip last construction maximizes flexibility.
Midsole: Full length SpEVA® for cushioning from heel to toe. Rearfoot Gel Cushion System provides shock attenuation in the heel.
Outsole: Six Spike Configuration conforms to the perimeter of the outsole to provide traction regardless of terrain. Full length, rubber outsole with beveled heel maximizes ground contact for better traction and conformity.
Weight: 8.3 oz (Size 9).
Color: Liquid Silver/Aluminum/Cheddar.

Cross Country spikes are intended to fit snug, but not tight. For those who have never been fitted before for spikes, please note that running spikes are typically sized a half size smaller than most other types of athletic footwear such as running shoes or basketball shoes. When unsure of size, consider ordering at least 1/2 size larger than normal. A comfortable fit, however, is the personal preference of the individual athlete, and we do not guarantee fit based on the suggestion above. Footwear Terminology:
Slip Last: The upper portion of the track spike is glued to a thin fiber board, then cemented to the midsole and outsole, providing more durability.
SpEVA®: Proprietary midsole material that improves bounce back characteristics and decrease midsole breakdown.
Rearfoot Gel®: A silicone based gel strategically placed at high impact areas in the rear-foot for shock absorption.
