Escaine™: A textile created by Toray Industries, Inc. Escaine™ has a structure resembling natural suede, and consists of ultra-fine fibers (0.01 to 0.2 denier) closely intertwined into bundles. Earning high praise for its outstanding quality, feel and functionality, Ecsaine™ is used in a wide range of applications, including clothing, upholstery, wall coverings, automobile trim, and sporting goods such as golf gloves and sports shoes.
Split Sole™: Traditional outsole are constructed from one piece, the ASICS® Split-Sole™ "splits the outsole into two distinctive pieces that increases flexibility while reducing weight.

Dan Gable Biography:
The name literally epitomizes the sport of wrestling both on the mat, and as a coach. As a collegiate wrestler at Iowa State, Dan Gable accumulated an astounding 118-1 record, and was 3 time All-American. Later, he would win the Gold Medal at the 1972 Munich Olympics. From 1977 - 1997, he accumulated a 355-21-5 record as coach of his Alma Mater, Iowa State. He coached 152 All-Americans, 45 National Champions, 106 Big Ten Champions and 12 Olympians, including four gold, one silver and three bronze medalists.
