Schutt® Y Flex™ 80005 All Purpose Youth Football Shoulder Pad.

The Schutt® Y Flex™ Youth Shoulder Pad features a lightweight design with an economical price that still offers the strength and protection of AiR Flex™ technology, including raised corrugations. Arch features 5mm vapor holes, maximizing ventilation and air flow next the body. Treated with AEGIS Anti-Microbial and a 3-point belt system.

  • The arch has an extended cut in both the front and back that provides extra protection for developing bones. The extended cuts also protect the sternum, ribs and back.
  • Impact channels on the padding mimic the look of the AiR Flex™. Just like the AiR Flex™, the Y Flex™ also has 5mm vent holes throughout the arch.
  • The Y Flex™ features a two-layer padding system that utilizes EVA impact foam, the same EVA typically found on running shoes, plus a layer of comfort foam to help with the fit and comfort of the pad. The moisture wicking Aero-Dry™ spacer fabric helps dissipate sweat and moisture away from the body.
  • Exclusive, AEGIS® application takes anti-microbial agents to the next level. This rugged, germ-fighting agent uses negatively charged anti-microbial particles to fight against an array of bacteria, fungus, germs, and mold. AEGIS® is so effective, it's registered with the EPA
  • Flexible comfort and fit. Unlike adult size models, The Y Flex™ utilizes an elastic strap system for attachment that makes this shoulder pad flexible and easy to fit on a wider variety of young players.

The size scale above is a suggestive guide for those who can not be immediately fitted. Other factors may affect sizing. As a result, the customer assumes responsibility for incorrect size selection.
