Wrestling shoes are not supposed to fit like street shoes. Wrestling shoes are designed to be snug so as not to fall off while you are in action. Most wrestling shoes run true to size but they tend to run narrow and snug. If you have a wide foot you may have to move up a half size for a better fit. For younger wrestlers it is a good idea to add a full size to their normal shoes size to accommodate growth.
Always try on shoes in a clean area to determine proper fit. Be aware that retailers will not permit you to return or exchange shoes that are not clean or show signs of wear.
